Fri., June 26th  A LIVELY MARKET DAY TO LAUNCH THE SEASON!

Starting with our VENDORS…………….We welcomed back the OLD….

We brought in some NEW…..

We RECONNECTED with others….

And then we celebrated with music from Meadowbrook Waldorf School’s “Sky’s Ensemble“,

A special water quality info booth,

Farm animals,

and our wonderful COMMUNITY of shoppers and visitors.

Join us this coming, Friday, July 3rd, for ALL of our market offerings along with music by the band Farm Dog and an opportunity to recycle your electronics with IndieCycle!

ANTICIPATING the 2015 CLT FARMERS’ MARKET SEASON #8…..

Tomorrow, Fri., June 26th is Day 1 of Season #8 for the Charlestown Land Trust Farmers’ Market!  Amidst the flurry of preparations, all is being made ready….Ready to welcome our whole community: locals, visitors, vendors, and assorted friends.  Along with a full array of market offerings, unique events are planned for each week, music will be woven through every shopping day, and each Friday there will be a non profit group representing a special program of local interest.  Tomorrow we’ll be featuring the Meadowbrook School’s Music Group “Sky’s Ensemble” and URI’s  Natural Resources Coastal Institute.

Please join us on Opening Day and every Friday for the rest of the summer!  We are located on the grounds of the Church of the Holy Spirit, 4150 Old Post Rd. (Rt. 1 A) in Chrarlestown.  And we’ll be there from 9:30 to 1.
